2023 WINTER MPL DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM
CLASSES FOR 1/20 HAVE BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO A FACILITY CONFLICT AND WILL BE ADDED TO THE SCHEDULE FOR MARCH 4TH SO ALL PLAYERS GET A FULL 8 CLASS SESSIONS. SORRY FOR THE LATE CHANGE.
Welcome to the 2023 Winter MPL soccer development program! We are excited to kick off the season and have a couple of updates to share. Any players that have changed their status and will not be participating please reply to confirm your player so we can update the rosters.
Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and prepare for the class and see below details for your player:
- bring a ball
- wear comfortable clothes and shoes (or cleats if you choose)
- bring water or sports drink
For our 2-4 year old class we encourage parents/guardians to stay as close as needed to make your player feel comfortable and to assist in their participation. As the winter progresses each player will get more and more comfortable and make friends along the way.
I look forward to seeing you at Body By D (formerly Premiere Sportscenter) in Yorktown Saturday morning. The location of the facility is 106 N. Constitution Drive, Yorktown and please enter the building through the Body By D entry. When entering the property go into the parking area to the right and you can enter the double glass doors or come in the side door next to Body By D gym entrance.

MPL Players and Parents,
What a great year of MPL sessions and thanks to those who participated! We are truly excited for the upcoming Winter MPL season and appreciate your support of this program. Below is some information regarding the program for you to review. The first session is for the players to get comfortable with the coaches and the indoor environment and we are off and running from there!
Times: Please try to show up “10” minutes before your scheduled time so we can start all sessions on time. Parking maybe an issue. You may also park on the road in front of the building. Please don't park in the lot to the business next door as they may tow cars from that location.
Program Costs: $80 per player/per 8 session class
Schedule
SATURDAY CLASSES
January 7th through February 25th @ PSC Yorktown
(8 Saturday sessions)
9:00am 2-4 year olds
10:00am 5-7 year olds
11:00am 8-12 year olds
***We will try to keep players in their age/ability groups but if you wish to move your child into a different group, please ask the coaches and we will work with you so your child is in the best environment for their development.
What to bring:
1) Sneakers/indoor soccer shoes/turfs (or cleats if you don't have the others)
2) Water
3) Shin guards
*** The players will get an MPL jersey at the beginning of the session that they will be expected to wear each week.
Format: 30-40 mins (Technical/Skill Work) / 20-30 mins (Game Play) pending age and level of groups.
Group work or Stations may vary between ball touches & agility. Coaches may run a station that will include (ball work/moves, 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, passing/receiving, dribbling, shooting, and juggling).
